Tackling Alcohol-Fuelled Violence Legislation (Amendment Bill) 2015

The Queensland Government’s Tackling Alcohol-Fuelled Violence Legislation is a policy initiative to minimise the harm from alcohol in and around venues ensuring a safe night for all. The Government referred this to the Legal Affairs and Safety Committee. Submissions closed on 23 December 2015.

Personal Choice and Community Impacts Senate Inquiry

On 25 June 2015, the Senate referred an inquiry into personal choice and community impacts to the Senate Economics References Committee for inquiry and report by 13 June 2016.

Queensland Government Safe Night Out Strategy

The Queensland Government’s Safe Night Out Strategy is an action plan to restore responsible behaviour and respect, stamp out alcohol and drug-related violence and ensure Queensland’s nightlife is safe for all. The Government called for feedback on the plan. Submissions closed on 21 April 2014.
