Queensland’s Safe Night Out Precinct boards will receive a cash injection of $50,000 each by the end of the month to kick-start their fight against alcohol-fuelled violence.
Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie told APN each of the established precincts would receive their piece of $44 million in State Government funding within weeks.
The grant will be the first cash the precinct boards will see since their formation last month.
