One of Queensland’s leading facial surgeons says the medical fraternity is getting frustrated at the numbers of people turning up broken and beaten after drunken weekend brawls.
“There’s no quick fix,” Dr Anthony Lynham, from the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital’s maxillo-facial clinic, said.
“It’s a lack of respect from one human being for another.
“I think that we have to go back to some old-fashioned values. Education is the key,” he said.
